Travel to a
small, coastal New England town where a young girl's love for a
handsome carnival barker creates heartache, anguish, and finally,
redemption. Along the way, experience the lasting magic of
Rodgers' beautiful melodies and Hammerstein's poetic lyrics with
"If I Loved You," "June is Busting Out All Over," and "You'll
Never Walk Alone." This
stunning production is headlined by professional actors with
experience from New York to L.A. to the best professional stages
in the Bay Area. Carousel also proudly features Castro
Valley's finest home grown talent. This sparkling cast of fifty
will leave you humming some of Broadway's most famous tunes.
This show also includes a full
orchestra featuring professional musicians and community players.
You will also see members of our C.V.H.S. National Champion Dance
Team soar in the amazing Carousel dance numbers.

witch and more in this story that interweaves familiar fairytales
in a most unfamiliar way! Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's
brilliant musical explores fulfillment of dreams, dashing of hope,
and the admonition to us all: Be careful what you wish for!

Thrill to the resplendent pageantry of one of
the longest lived Folklorico dance companies in America. Ballet
Folklorico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno brings traditional Mexican
dance, costumes, music, and song to the stage with all its energy
and passion. Castro Valley students will join the Ballet
Folklorico for a special number.

Come celebrate
our nation's birthday with the rousing music of George M. Cohan,
one of America's greatest composers and entertainers! Follow
George's life from vaudeville, through Broadway, to national
recognition with the Congressional Medal of Honor for his
inspirational wartime song "Over There." George M! includes such
stirring, patriotic songs as "Yankee Doodle Dandy," "You're a
Grand Old Flag," and "Give My Regards to Broadway."
This is the fifth and final show of
our 3rd season.
